While I love weddings, there’s a special place in my heart for capturing bridal portraits that are full of personality, creativity, and so much fun. Baylee’s bridal portraits at the Aldredge House in Dallas, Texas, are ones I’ll never forget. With the perfect mix of classic while bringing lots of variety and fun, her photos are a timeless reflection of this special season as a bride. These portraits couldn’t be more her, and I can’t wait to capture more bridal portraits here! Take a look at the stunning gallery below!
The Aldredge House is a historic home filled with character at every turn. From the unique walls, antique accessories, and the coolest floors, there is no shortage of photo opportunities here. The color-drenched walls and winding staircase gave the photos a vintage-inspired, moody feel, while the outdoor courtyard brought in the most beautiful natural light, making Baylee look radiant in every spot. If you want variety in your bridal portraits (and to look as gorgeous as you feel), then let the Aldredge House be your pick!
Bridal portraits don’t have to feel stiff and overly posed. My goal is to give you timeless photos to look back on while making sure you have fun in the process! We tried out so many fun poses with Baylee, like lounging across the colorful furniture and even lying on the checkered floor! We also got some documentary-style photos of her letting her hair down and touching up her makeup in the mirror. I felt so inspired here, and I’d love to dream up the same with you!
As a Dallas wedding photographer, I always recommend a bridal session before your wedding. It’s an unhurried and intentional time dedicated to the bride. This creates more time for couples portraits and time with guests during your wedding day. Plus, I’m a firm believer that your wedding dress should be worn more than once (it’s too beautiful not to!). You won’t regret preserving this special time in your life.
If you’re looking for a wedding photographer to capture your bridal portraits in a way that reflects exactly who you are, I’d love to help you document this special season. Whether it’s at the Aldredge House or another location, let’s make it happen! You can learn more about me here and inquire about bridal portraits here. Until then, you can find more wedding inspiration on the blog. I can’t wait to meet you and bring your dream photoshoot to life!
