A bit about Macey

A deep thinker and empath, my close friends know I will likely steer conversations to deeper subjects. I'm not the best at small talk, but if you start pouring your heart out, I will be right there with you! I love wedding days because I feel it with you. If the girls are laughing, I've got the biggest grin while snapping pics. I'm crying during private vows and the heart-felt toasts. Being able to feel, to share in others' joy is the greatest gift, and joining in wedding days is such a privilege. 
Because I want to photograph moments in their true form, I have found myself leaning into a documentary approach on wedding days. I'm in the room, but I am not demanding the room. I would rather capture an image with real emotions and possible imperfections rather than a false moment.
