Some wedding styles just feel timeless from the start. The soft glow of candlelight, the shimmer of satin, the quiet elegance of deep, moody hues. It all comes together to create something magical. Inspired by Pantone’s Autumn/Winter 2025–2026 New York Fashion Week color forecast, this winter wedding color palette was designed for the modern romantic who loves sophistication with a touch of play. This season, we’re embracing Lyons Blue, French Roast, Mauve Wine, and Primrose Pink — colors that tell a story of warmth, elegance and comfort. Let’s dive in!

A Winter Wedding Color Story Meant for the Modern Bride

Earlier in 2025, Pantone unveiled its color list for the 2025–2026 Autumn and Winter trends and as always, what starts on the runway gracefully finds its way into wedding inspiration boards everywhere. For this season, I pulled two standout tones (Lyons Blue and Primrose Pink) and paired them with two of Pantone’s “seasonless” shades (French Roast and Mauve Wine) to create the perfect winter wedding color palette for 2026 brides. Lyons Blue brings a serene confidence whereas French Roast grounds the look with warmth and sophistication. For an elevated twist, try using drapery as a photo backdrop in place of a flower wall or neon sign. It gives a studio-chic vibe that feels luxe and intentional.

Pro Tip: Have a second photographer stationed with the drapery during cocktail hour so your guests can leave with professional portraits. An unforgettable detail they’ll treasure.

Layers of Texture and Touches of Romance

Our secondary colors, Mauve Wine and Primrose Pink, bring personality to the palette. These fun tones bring a little life and excitement to the comforting blue and brown. They’re seen scattered around the wedding day in florals, stationary, and other little details. When it comes to texture, think of contrast as your secret weapon. A satin wedding gown paired with a matte French Roast suit and Peacock floral paisley tie creates some juxtaposition that feels effortless and high-end. From shiny glassware to soft velvet runners, layering different finishes makes your design feel multidimensional and intentional. A hallmark of the latest wedding trends for 2026.

Bonus tip: This color palette pairs well with both silvers and golds. So whether you’re a gold girly or into antique silver, it’ll go seamlessly with this wedding design.
