Sit back, relax, and step into the story of this beautiful micro wedding in Florida on Marco Island. This bride and groom had such a heartfelt celebration that perfectly captured everything they dreamed of and held dear. It started with a slow and intentional morning followed by an intimate, outdoor ceremony and rounded up with a sunset beach walk! Every moment was so precious. I was honored to be there to document it!
A Slow Morning and Sweet Moments with the Bride
The entire day unfolded at the beautiful Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort and Spa, providing a stunning coastal spot for many unforgettable memories to be made. One of my favorite parts of the morning was when I got to capture the bride and her bridesmaids lounging beneath a parasol, each holding stunning bouquets by Bella Florals. It was such a dreamy moment that was full of joy and love right before those final touches and that walk down the aisle. Absolute perfection!
This Florida Micro Wedding had the Cutest Surprise
What started out as an intimate micro wedding quickly turned into something even more special! As Jake and Hannah said “I do,” resort guests began gathering on their balconies for a front row seat to their outdoor ceremony! They cheered as Hannah walked down the aisle; you can see Jake looking up at them and fist pumping. Then they all cheered again with even more life as the couple kissed. It was so special to see that many strangers eagerly watching this sweet ceremony. This was one of those magical moments that reminded me just how powerful love is. It has a way of bringing people together, even total strangers.
Ending the Day with What Matters Most
Rather than a reception, after the ceremony, the couple, guests, and myself were all invited to sit and eat together to celebrate. We all fit at one big table and enjoyed fellowship together. Then, when the sun was at the perfect spot and the scattered evening showers dispersed, Jake and Hannah led the way to the beach for sunset portraits. No big reception, no grand exit, just a great day to get married and celebrate in the way that made these two happy. This Florida micro wedding encapsulated love and celebration, where above all else the focus was on the pure connection and the intimacy of this couple!
